I’m a nerd… I know it. I admit it. I love weather. I am fascinated by it. When we still lived in the US, the default channel on the TV was the Weather Channel; not just to have it on for sound, but I would watch it, actually sit and watch it, all of the forecasts for different places, what happened yesterday in weather, and my favorite show… “Storm Stories”. I love it. I also love record temperatures, comparing and contrasting them & I love pictures of weather happenings.

Weather is just so beautiful. It’s always changing. We have a great view from our apartment, which is rare since we live in an apartment building. We are blessed to have the apartment on the end of the building, so we have a huge balcony. It over looks a field / playground, so we actually have a view to look at, not just another building to stare at. It also looks somewhat west, so most of the year we have some pretty great sunsets. I say most of the year as in the winter, the sun sets in the northwest and in the summer it sets in the south west - when it sets at all.

This morning we awoke to a beautiful morning. It snowed some last night,  but only about 1/2 inch or so. Then it got cold. It was around 0 Fahrenheit this morning. But, the sun was out… our first blue sky in quite some time. It was beautiful. The snow covered and somewhat crystallized the trees and was shimmering on the ground. It did warm up later today… most of the snow melted, more from the intense sun today than from heat. Beautiful day.
