My first “music videos”

Well… I use the term loosely… but you’ll get the idea… I made these videos for a Christian radio station back in Dallas to know about what’s happening in Latvia, as some folks from that area were here working with the Christian school in a youth camp. My wife ran camera, while I recorded 4 tracks of audio, which I mixed & mastered (again… loose terms) later on & remixed that into the video. Enjoy.

Emily Garces

This is a name you need to know… She’s my friend’s wife & quite a talented painter from Wales. “Sofa in the Sun” I think is my fave. I’m glad to know someone in the world like this.

Riot Poem

My friend Anthony has created a new website/organization called Riot Poem. The premise of this is to allow artists to donate their work, which can then be sold to make money that is 100% donated to Justice For Children, Int’l. JFCI is an organization that is actively fighting against child sex trafficking. So, in effort of supporting my friend in his quest, I’m telling as many people as possible about his website. Please do the same & maybe buy a t-shirt!

Latvia in crisis

In recent news, Latvia is perched on a precarious branch of unstable governmental practices. Large investigations of political leaders that have led to the arrest of one city’s mayor & members of parliament undergoing questioning of their possible bribe acceptance is painting a grim picture for the future of Latvia’s government & economy. The Economist released a report on the economic health of 10 Eastern European nations & has pegged Latvia as the one in the worst condition.

Let us continue to pray for God’s righteous to flood this land & that repentance would come swiftly & firmly & that His justice would reign here.

fine tune…

i’ve recently discovered a fun new toy… it’s called finetune. you sign in & find songs by your favorite artists & make a playlist. then you can embed a player that will play your playlist of 45 songs. below is one of the playlists that i made. i spent a few hours searching through the 1000’s of songs they have in their database. almost any artist that came to mind was in there (the ones that weren’t were either indie or obscure world artists). enjoy!
