If only…
I went to Czech Republic to make a support video for my friends. I left with this lovely gift:
“You are the proud recipient of one borrowed bouračka [Czech for wreck]“. I guess this is what the gift card would say had this “gift” come with one. I borrowed this car to drive somewhere to visit a friend. I lost traction in Prague & hit the car in front of me. Now I get to be the one who pays the damages, since the owner only had liability. I’m praying it’s not going to cost $3000 as some are estimating.
Are we having fun yet? Wee!!
My little Mazda has developed an attitude. Every time our mechanic fixes the exhaust… it gets another hole somewhere else. Now it’s sounding like a rally car. The problem is our mechanic is in Norway or England or something. As I mentioned in a previous post, many of Latvia’s best & brightest leave because they simply can’t live on the wages here in Latvia. We’re feeling this on a personal level. Our car needs to be fixed, but the best mechanic in the area is out of the country working. So… we need to find someone else maybe…
