Who knew a 50 kg girl could mess me up so badly? I didn’t break any ribs, but her shoulder made them move. That’s a freaky feeling! And dang! It sure hurts, too! I won’t be trying a body slam on that one for quite a while! At least Lydia got a laugh out of it.

A good friend sits questioning her calling… again. I try encouraging her as best as I know how. All I can do is say what I know to say… pray… & trust that she will follow God in the end. Oh how I hope she does.
Yesterday we had an all-staff meeting with people attending from all over the country. I was asked to lead worship for that time. Until just recently, I had been questioning whether I should even continue with leading worship altogether. It wasn’t until this past Monday when my friend, Elise, prayed for me that I finally started to feel a breakthrough spiritually & emotionally.
So after I led worship for the staff, I had two Latvians in very important positions tell me that my Latvian was either nearly perfect or perfect with no American accent whatsoever. For me, that is the highest praise because many Latvians are incredibly critical of accents. Now if I can just start to speak it!!!

I’ve decided it’s time to record a worship cd. My target artists for this cd? Worship leaders from the Talsi area. Go ahead & listen to demos of some of the songs that I’m considering for the album.

I decided to take more control over my blog, so I’ve moved it to my own server & have set it up using WordPress. It did a great job of importing my previous posts from my former blog-host, save the fact that it didn’t bring over my images. I’m not too happy about that, but I’ve decided not to fret over it & just add images to future posts here. Let me know what you think about this new site.
